Clark Liu (刘宇超)
University of Cambridge
I am a student studying MPhil. In Scientific Computing (Atomistic Stream) at Cambridge, focusing on topological materials. I was a student at Durham University with a degree in MSci. Natural Sciences (Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry) (Four-year undergraduate Master). In my final year at Durham, I did my final project with a first-class result related to cold quantum simulation with a thesis on the simulations of the trapping method of optical tweezers array using SLM under the supervision of Dr. Hannah Williams and Prof. Simon Cornish. I successfully simulated the novel trapping method and compared my results with those of the other international leading groups (One in Caltech and another in Institut d'Optique). Now, I’m in preparation for doing a theoretical/numerical project related to quasicrystal and floquet engineering at CMT group in Cambridge under the supervision of Dr. Nur Unal. I will do my PhD in Prof. Jo's group at HKUST.
