Xin Yuan Gao obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2022 and is currently pursuing a PhD in Physics at Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) under the supervision of Professor Yangqian Yan. His research experience spans both soft matter physics and cold atom physics, with current research interests focused on investigating the non-Hermitian dynamics of various quantum gas systems.
