Mingyang Liu (劉明揚)
University of Hong Kong
Dr Mingyang Liu obtained a bachelor’s degree from Wuhan University in 2019 and earned a PhD at University of Hong Kong (HKU) under the supervision of Professor Shizhong Zhang. Mingyang is currently a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Hong Kong. His primary research interests focus on strongly correlated problems in ultracold systems, specifically p-wave interaction-dominated Bose–Einstein condensates (BECs) and p-wave fermion gases in one dimension. Additionally, he investigates dipolar molecular gases under microwave shielding, with a focus on collective modes and transport phenomena for dipolar molecular BECs.
