Yingzhang Huang

Yingzhang obtained his bachelor's degree in biotechnology from Southwest University in Chongqing, China, in 2016. Upon graduation, he pursued his PhD degree in cell and molecular biology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. During his PhD, he studied the early embryo development of Arabidopsis thaliana, which is a key model for fundamental research in plant biology, focusing on gene expression regulation at the levels of transcription, transcriptome, and translation. Since 2023, Yingzhang has been working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Translational Stem Cell Biology in Science Park, Hong Kong, under the supervision of Professor Pentao Liu.
