Ying Jin Ang

Ying Jin earned her MPhil in 2013 from the Department of Biology (now the Division of Life Science) at HKUST, specialising in developmental biology. This foundational training provided her with a deep understanding of complex biological processes and gene regulation. Currently, she serves as a dedicated lab manager and research assistant in Professor Danny Leung's lab, a dynamic research environment. In this role, she plays a pivotal part in cutting-edge investigations focused on epigenetics and epigenomics. Her responsibilities encompass both the operational oversight of the laboratory and active contributions to scientific projects, bridging her expertise from developmental mechanisms to the intricate world of epigenetic control and its impact on cellular function.
