Yicong Chen (谌毅聪)

Yicong Chen is a second year PhD student at University of Hong Kong. He obtained his bachelor degree of biomedical engineering from University of Rochester and his master's degree of biomedical engineering from Duke University. He has hands-on problem solving and analytical abilities which enables him to perform lab work both independently and in collaborative environments. Moreover, he has worked in both research and work settings for medical device design and tissue engineering. His current research project is related to stem cells and early embryo development. He is also interested in the functions of transposable elements.
