Quanhua Mu (母全華)
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
Quanhua Mu is an assistant professor in the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his bachelor and master’s degree from Nankai University, and then completed PhD and postdoc training at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He works on computational investigation of cancer evolution. Using bioinformatics and machine learning methods, his research has revealed multiple novel drug targets and drivers of drug resistance in brain cancer. He started his own lab in July 2024. His current lab works on decoding cancer evolution with big data and artificial intelligence, with special interest in osteosarcoma.
