Qiuyu Jing obtained her PhD from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Hong Kong. Her primary focus is on a T cell project in collaboration with international partners. Her aim is to discover and investigate T cells that can recognize various tumor antigens independent of MHC (majority histocompatibility complex).
Additionally, she is involved in projects related to Human Endogenous Retroviruses (HERV), where the goal is to profile HERV expression in multiple cancer cell lines by integrating advanced short-read and long-read sequencing technologies.
