Jundong is a first-year PhD student at Tsinghua University, majoring in Biology within the School of Life Sciences. He graduated from Yunnan University, where he earned a degree in Biotechnology. His research centres on the functional connection between the C9orf72-SMCR8 complex and lysosomes, with a particular focus on investigating how this complex contributes to lysosomal damage repair. Currently, Jundong is conducting his PhD research in Nian Liu's lab, where he aims to explore the intricate mechanisms of transcriptional regulation and the functional analysis of transposons. His work seeks to enhance the understanding of cellular processes and their implications for health and disease, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field of molecular biology.
