Haoyuan Li
Tsinghua University
Haoyuan is a PhD student in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University, where he is supervised by Professor Nian Liu. He earned a BSc in Biology from Nankai University in 2023. Haoyuan's research focuses on the regulation and function of retrotransposable elements in the human genome, primarily through bioinformatic analyses of multi-omics data. He is particularly interested in studying the regulation and function of retrotransposons, including Alu elements. Additionally, Haoyuan explores computational modelling of biological processes and the computational science of the genome. He aims to engage with the latest global research and deepen his understanding of retrotransposons while communicating with fellow researchers.
