Frontiers in Energy Storage

Cost-effective energy storage is essential to the realization of a world powered by renewable sources, in particular, solar and wind.
With hundreds of academics in HK local Institutions conducting energy storage and related research, this Croucher Advanced Study Institute (ASI) on energy storage technologies, as a high-level teaching event, has with the following objectives: • To bring a group of world-renowned scientists to Hong Kong for knowledge, experience and research philosophy sharing with local academics; • To provide a venue for local academics to learn about the most cutting-edge energy storage technologies and explore new areas for future research and development; • To enable local academics to establish international scientific connections and strengthen the global research collaborations in the area of energy research and development.
