Jess Yim (嚴穎琳)

Dr. Jess Yim is a public health practitioner working for the Department of Health, Hong Kong. After graduating with MBBS degree from the University of Hong Kong, Dr Yim joined the Department in 2017. Over the past several years, Dr Yim has taken on increasing responsibilities, working in the Centre for Health Protection's Communicable Disease Branch from 2018 to 2021. Since 2021, Dr Yim has been part of the Department's Programme Management and Vaccination Division, contributing to the territory-wide COVID-19 vaccination programme as well as the seasonal influenza vaccination school outreach programme. Dr Yim aims to serve the Hong Kong community to the best of her abilities. Outside of work, Dr Yim enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through running, and finding relaxation through baking and watching movies. Colleagues describe Dr Yim as hardworking and dedicated, with a genuine concern for public health.
