Professor Burkhard Becher is a world-leading immunologist and neuroscientist. He is currently serving as the Director of the Institute of Experimental Immunology at the University of Zurich. Professor Becher's research has focused on the role of myeloid cells and Th17 cells in the central nervous system and how they contribute to the development and progression of multiple sclerosis, neuroinflammatory disorders, and cancers.
