Ruidong Xue
Assistant Professor, Yunnan Baiyao International Medical Research Center and First Hospital Tumor Transformation Research Center, Peking University
Ruidong Xue is an assistant professor and a dual-appointed principal investigator at both the Yunnan Baiyao International Medical Research Centre and the First Hospital Tumour Transformation Research Centre at Peking University. He obtained his PhD from Peking University in 2018 and has published numerous papers as a co-first or corresponding author in prestigious academic journals, including Nature and Cancer Cell. He is a recipient of the MRS "Young Investigator Award" from the International Metastasis Research Society, the Best Paper Award for Young Scientists at the 2021 China Tumour Marker Academic Conference, and the First Prize for Youth Innovation at the 2023 China Bangchui Island Tumour Frontier Forum. Xue's research focuses on uncovering novel rules and mechanisms in tumour evolution and microenvironment mutual regulation using cutting-edge technologies such as single-cell, spatial, and multi-omics.
