Siao Ting Chong
Nanyang Technological University
I have been working in the laboratory for over a decade (2013-present) and had an impressive journey in the field of research. I obtained a Master's degree in science from National Taiwan University in 2015. I'm currently working as a research associate at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. I am under the supervision of Associate Professor Joanne Ngeow who is hosting the Laboratory of Genomic Medicine. Under pressure to be a productive lab member, I seek out opportunities to take part in various research projects revolving around cancer genomics, immunology and tumour biology. One of my projects focuses on the immune landscape of BRCA-mutated breast and ovarian cancers in a Singapore cohort but its clinical implications remain unclear. I always want to improve continuously and stay at the forefront of the field. I hope to gain new insights in translational immunology from this course.
