My doctoral research focuses on bioinformatics and tumour immunology, specifically examining the composition and function of immune cells in the tumour microenvironment, with a particular emphasis on neutrophils. During my doctoral studies, we utilised single-cell transcriptome sequencing technology to investigate the immune landscape of liver cancer, resulting in the publication of a study titled "Liver tumour immune microenvironment subtypes and neutrophil heterogeneity" in Nature. I aim to further explore tumour immunology, uncovering the interactions and functions of neutrophils and other immune cells in tumours, and proposing novel immunotherapy targets. HKU Croucher Summer Course - Translational Immunology is very important to me as it will enhance my understanding of tumour immunology, allow me to interact with leading professors in the field of immunology, and provide me with a broader and more comprehensive research perspective.
