Huan Xu (许欢)
University of Hong Kong
Huan Xu is a first-year PhD student in Professor Zhengxiao Guo’s research group at University of Hong Kong. Their laboratory work focuses on synthesising nanostructures and catalysts for energy conversion and storage devices, such as fuel cells, batteries, and supercapacitors. Her primary research centers on organic solid-state electrolytes - including polymer and metal/covalent organic frameworks - aiming to enhance their ionic conductivity and stability. During her master's degree, she contributed to the development of cathode materials for metal-ion batteries, focusing on the modification of oxides, polyanions, and Prussian blue-type compounds for sodium-ion systems.
