Huan Xu (许欢)
University of Hong Kong
I'm currently a first-year PhD student in Professor Zhengxiao Guo’s group at HKU. Our lab focuses on the synthesis of nanostructures and catalysts and energy conversion and storage, like fuel cells, batteries, and supercapacitors. My interest is developing new solid-state electrolytes, and exploring novel solutions for enhancing ionic conductivity and stability of solid-state electrolytes. I mainly focus on organic solid-state electrolytes, such as polymer or metal/covalent organic frameworks. I was also involved in the development of cathode materials for metal-ion batteries during my master's period, such as the modification of oxides, polyanions, and Prussian blue-type cathode materials in sodium-ion batteries.
