DK Amirah Najibah PG Aliuddin is a first-year PhD student in Professor Edman Tsang’s group within the Department of Inorganic Chemistry at University of Oxford. Her research spans both fundamental and applied aspects of advanced chemical materials and catalysis, encompassing the synthesis, testing, and characterisation of solid-state materials for sustainable energy systems. DK Amirah Najibah PG’s primary focus is evaluating the effectiveness of cobalt-based electride catalysts in ammonia decomposition. By investigating the surface mechanisms governing hydrogen production and correlating catalyst structure with activity, she aim to elucidate the fundamental principles underlying these materials' catalytic behaviour.
