University of Oxford
I'm currently a first-year PhD student in Professor Edman Tsang’s group in University of Oxford, Inorganic Chemistry department. Our research is on both fundamental and applied aspects in Novel Chemistry Materials and Catalysis which involves synthesis, testing and characterization of novel solid state materials for a wide range of applications particularly in the application for sustainable energy systems. My main interest lies in exploring the effectiveness of novel cobalt-based electride catalysts in the decomposition of ammonia. To investigate surface mechanisms governing hydrogen production and studying the correlations between catalyst structure and activity, I aim to elucidate the fundamental principles underlying the catalytic behaviour of these materials.
