Prof. Dr. Shuang Xiao is an Associate Professor at the Center for Intense Laser Application Technology (iLaT) and College of Engineering Physics, Shenzhen Technology University, China. He received his B.S. degree (2012) from the School of Physics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and his Ph.D. degree (2017) from the Department of Chemistry, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology under supervision of Prof. Shihe Yang. His current research is focused on compound semiconductors, X-ray detectors, and solar cells. He has published more than 80 papers with over 7,700 citations and a h-index of 43. He also serves as an editorial board member of Inorganics.
