Shuang Xiao is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Intense Laser Application Technology (iLaT) and the College of Engineering Physics, Shenzhen Technology University, China. He earned his BSc from the School of Physics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2012, followed by a PhD in Chemistry from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2017 under the supervision of Professor Shihe Yang. His research focuses on compound semiconductors, X-ray detectors, and solar cells. Having published over 80 papers with more than 7,700 citations and an h-index of 43, he also serves on the editorial board of Inorganics.
