Explore 4th-generation synchrotron applications in advanced materials research, featuring facility visits and hands-on training.
In the past few decades, many exciting scientific discoveries have been made using 2nd- and 3rd-generation synchrotron radiation (SR) facilities around the world. As more powerful 4th-generation SR sources are on the horizon, including the High Energy Photon Source in Beijing, the potential and benefits of existing and future SR facilities remain known but unexploited by all but a few research scientists in the Greater Bay Area.
With our expertise and experience, the main aim of this workshop is to introduce and promote advanced SR techniques. To achieve this, it will include workshops and sharing sessions from leading SR instrument scientists, as well as presentations on the newest scientific findings from world-renowned researchers.
