Veni Kong
Associate Dean for Research Grants Management, Nanyang Technological University
Veni Kong is the Associate Dean for Research Grants Management at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. She obtained her PhD in sports biomechanics at Loughborough University in the United Kingdom. Her research interests include sports biomechanics, human performance, and musculoskeletal health. She works closely with sports teams, hospitals, clinics, government agencies, and industrial partners to conduct interdisciplinary research that could have a positive impact on society.

In 2020, Kong was the recipient of the Fellowship of the International Society of Biomechanics in Sports (FISBS). She is currently an associate editor for Sports Biomechanics and the Journal of Mechanics in Medicine and Biology. She also serves on the editorial board for Research in Sports Medicine, the Journal of Exercise Science and Fitness, and the World Scientific Annual Review of Biomechanics.
