Zoey (Ziyin) Liu is an MSc stduent in sports rehabilitation at Shandong Sport University. Her research focuses on ankle sprains, with her research dissertation titled "Longer Peroneal Reaction Time in People with Chronic Ankle Instability Lines in Mechanoreceptor Delay from Sending Signals Rather Than Prolonged Peripheral Nerve Conduction". Using the Hoffmann reflex and trap door testing, Zoey aims to determine whether delayed peroneal reaction time is driven by slower nerve translation or delayed signal transmission from receptors.
