Stella Wang (王卓然)

Stella Wang is a postgraduate student pursuing a Master's in Sports Biomechanics at Loughborough University, renowned for their unrivalled research, teaching and partnerships across sport, exercise and health sciences. Born and raised in China. Stella graduated with a B.Sc. in Sports and Exercise Science from Loughborough University. At the undergraduate level, Stella acquired much expertise regarding sport rehabilitation, psychology, musculoskeletal system, biomechanics and so on. The undergraduate dissertation titled "Exploring the impact of Obesity and Physical Activity on Immune cell cytokine responses to stimulation with COVID-19 spike protein" resulted in usful experimental findings and an excellent grade. During the postgraduate phase, the focus was more on 3D Motion Analysis and developing simulation models. The research direction of the dissertation is the biomechanical factors in tennis serve motion performance. Outside of the study, Stella is an amateur tennis player who is a member of the performance team at the university, and a Chinese National Level 2 tennis athlete.
