Quinnie (Xinrui) Zhang obtained her bachelor's degree in sports training and her master's degree from the Shandong Sport University in 2019 and 2021, respectively. She is currently a first-year student at the Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her previously published academic papers include "Racewalking on a treadmill alters gait characteristics without increasing risk of disqualification" in the European Journal of Sport Science and "Comparison of the Difference of Movement Technique and Foul Risk between Treadmill and Field Training of Race Walkers" in the China Sport Science and Technology.
