Yi Zeng (曾毅)
University of Hong Kong
Yi holds a BS in Pharmacy from Wuhan University of Engineering and an MSc in Molecular Biology from Jinzhou Medical University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has researched brain vascular diseases, stem cell biology, and synthetic biology at institutions including GTIIT and Technion. Currently at HKUMed, Yi studies stem cell-derived human primordial germ cells, DYSTROPHIA MYOTONICA 1, and infertility using CRISPR and patient-derived iEPSCs. He has published four first-author papers in journals such as Nature Communications and Stem Cell Research & Therapy. His research interests lie in genome editing and regenerative medicine.
