Umit Mukatay is a PhD student in Pharmacology at the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He holds an MS in Biology from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and dual BSc degrees in Biotechnology and Literature from Xinjiang Normal University and Xinjiang University. With a background in biochemistry, Umit has taught at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University. He has completed research internships at the University of Mississippi and the University of Pisa. His research focuses on drug discovery and biomedicine, driven by a passion for advancing therapeutic innovations.
