Sukasem is a second-year graduate student at the School of Biomolecular Science and Engineering, Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), Thailand. Under the supervision of Dr Chayasith Uttamapinant, his research focuses on developing a diagnostic platform combining recombinase polymerase amplification with CRISPR-based detection for rapid diagnostics. Fascinated by the versatility of CRISPR in biological research and its applications in healthcare and biotechnology, Sukasem aims to deepen his expertise in genome editing technologies to advance his research and contribute to impactful innovations in diagnostics and biotechnology.
