Sizhen holds a bachelor’s degree from the Air Force Medical University and a Master of Science from the National University of Singapore. Currently a Research Assistant in Professor Xiaowen Mao’s group at the University of Macau, Sizhen will begin a fully funded PhD programme there this autumn. Her research focuses on the tumour microenvironment, tumour development, and the molecular basis of drug resistance and metastasis, with a strong interest in advancing cancer therapeutics.
