Ruifeng is a PhD student in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Macau, specialising in gene regulation mechanisms using shRNA plasmid delivery. His research focuses on optimising RNA interference to silence target genes in rheumatoid arthritis models, enhancing his expertise in gene delivery and function. Ruifeng is keen to advance his knowledge of CRISPR-based tools through the University of Hong Kong’s Precision Genome Engineering programme, aiming to integrate CRISPR technology into his future work to develop innovative gene engineering strategies for disease modelling.
