Linlin Song (宋琳琳)
Macau University of Science and Technology
Linlin is a postdoctoral researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Macau University of Science and Technology, focusing on the anti-aging and neuroprotective mechanisms of traditional Chinese medicine. Her research explores how small-molecule compounds target Alzheimer’s disease through calcium ion signalling and energy metabolism. Linlin combines HPLC-MS and BLI optical analysis to identify active components from traditional Chinese medicine and studies their therapeutic effects, mechanisms, safety, and pharmacokinetics. She is also developing nano-formulations for targeted drug delivery across the blood-brain barrier, aiming to advance treatments for neurodegenerative diseases.
