Professor C.K. Shum
School of Earth Sciences, Ohio State University
Professor Shum and his research group focus on the research relating to the accurate measurements of present-day sea-level rise and to the improved understanding of the geophysical causes of its rise, including anthropogenic climate-change. They also work on research in satellite geodesy, temporal gravity field and tide modeling, satellite oceanography, hydrology and geodynamics, ice mass balance, precision satellite orbit determination, GNSS meteorology, planetary geodesy, and space physics.
