Ziniu is a PhD student at Westlake University specialising in AI-assisted protein design for antiviral therapeutics. He holds a BSc in Bioinformatics from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University and an MSc from the Beijing Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology. His master’s research on SFTSV identified a highly pathogenic genotype and genomic features linked to mortality. At Westlake, Ziniu focuses on engineering antibodies, designing epitope-targeted therapeutic proteins, and developing multivalent vaccines through computational antigen optimisation. He has co-authored multiple scientific publications and continues to advance his work in computational biology and therapeutic design.
