Recent epidemics such as avian and pandemic influenza, chikungunya, SARS and MERS coronaviruses, Ebola, Zika virus and more have underscored not only the growing globalisation of health issues, but also the intimate relationships among human health, animal health and our ecosystems. 

This Croucher Summer Course addresses the grand challenges of containing emerging viral infections with an inclusive One-Health approach combining the fields of animal and human health.
