Yeuk Laam is a second-year student pursuing a research-intensive BSc and MRes in Biological Sciences at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Her research spans C. elegans neurobiology and microplastic-microbe interactions. Inspired by the impact of global warming on infectious diseases, she is passionate about virology and public health. Recognised with the Asia Weekly Global Chinese Outstanding Student Award (2023), Yeuk Laam is committed to bridging science and society through STEM education and translational solutions. Her interdisciplinary approach aims to address global epidemics and foster collaboration in tackling public health challenges.
