Zhaoyi Zeng is a research assistant in Professor Zhengcheng Gu's research group at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). His research interests lie at the intersection of topological quantum matter and quantum information, including mixed-state quantum phases, robust quantum error correction codes, and entanglement bootstrap. He is also exploring methods to combine these fields with LLM models. Before joining CUHK, Zhaoyi obtained his BSc in physics from Fudan University in 2025.
