Yuan Xue is a fourth-year graduate student at UT Austin. His research focuses on the intersections between condensed matter theory, quantum information/dynamics and high energy theory—including phases of matter, quantum dynamics and information, and generalised symmetries, where he implements both analytical/mathematical tools such as field theory and categorical theory and advanced numerical techniques such as Monte-Carlo-style quantum trajectory.
