Yining Kang is currently a PhD student in theoretical physics at Kavli Institute For Theoretical Science (KITS), University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, advised by Professor Yunqin Zheng. Yining's current interests are generalised symmetries and anomalies with their realisations in quantum field theory and lattice systems and constructions of emanant and emergent symmetries in various models.
