Xingyu Ren (任兴宇)
Chinese University of Hong Kong
Xingyu Ren received his bachelor's degree in physics from Fudan University and is currently pursuing his PhD in condensed matter theory at Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on topological phases and generalised symmetries, where he has developed systematic frameworks for interacting fermionic SPT phases. In parallel, he has broadened his scope to artificial intelligence, contributing to work on large language models and embodied intelligence. His long-term vision is to bridge physics and AI, advancing fundamental science and shaping the future of intelligent systems.
