Soumil Roychowdhury is a third-year PhD student in the Department of Physics at University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on generalised symmetries and anyon condensation, exploring how these two inherently connected concepts illuminate exotic phases of quantum matter. He looks forward to discussing these intertwined frameworks and collaborating with fellow researchers.
