Seishiro Ono
University of Tokyo
Seishiro Ono is an assistant professor at Institute for Solid State Physics (ISSP) at University of Tokyo, specialising in theoretical and computational physics. He received his PhD in physics from University of Tokyo in 2023. Prior to his current position, he was a Special Postdoctoral Researcher (SPDR) at RIKEN and a long-term visitor at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology for two years. His research interests broadly encompass quantum many-body physics, including topological phases, dynamics, and the emergent properties of correlated systems. He has worked on the comprehensive classification of topological phases, especially in free fermionic systems. More recently, he has been focusing on tensor-network techniques, including developing new algorithms, tensor-network representations of unitary and generalised symmetries, and their physical implications.
