Iris Luo is a high school student curious about phase transitions coming to learn something new. Iris met Professor Gu at the S.T. Yau High School Science Award, and he kindly invited her to attend this course. She is very excited and honoured. She hopes to study phase-transition-related topics at the California Institute of Technology.
