University of Hong Kong
Yinghui Chen is a PhD candidate at The University of Hong Kong. She previously earned her Master’s degree in Paediatric Cardiology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Jilin University. Her research interests lie in vascular remodelling, metabolic dysfunction in diabetic cardiomyopathy, and the interplay between adipose tissue and cardiac performance. She has published in leading journals, including a first-author paper titled “Vav2 promotes ductus arteriosus anatomic closure via the remodelling of smooth muscle cells by Rac1 activation” in Journal of Molecular Medicine (2023), and co-authored “HMGA2 contributes to vascular development and sprouting angiogenesis by promoting IGFBP2 production” in Experimental Cell Research (2021). Her current work continues to explore the molecular mechanisms underpinning cardiovascular remodelling and dysfunction.
