Ruofei Li (李若菲)
Peking University
Ruofei Li is a self-motivated early-career researcher who obtained her master’s degree from Peking University in June 2025. Her academic training includes diverse research and clinical internship experience, with developed competencies in data analysis, image processing, and scientific illustration. She has also gained strong experimental skills in operation and design, as well as expertise in data interpretation and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her master’s research focused on endothelial contributions to atherosclerosis progression, specifically investigating impaired re-endothelialisation and endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition-mediated monocyte infiltration—key processes in disease advancement. The thematic focus of this course on arterial ageing mechanisms, endothelial dysfunction, and novel cardiovascular interventions aligns directly with her research interests and PhD aspirations. She is keen to deepen her understanding of vascular ageing and apply the insights to guide her future research directions.
