Musammat Kulsuma Begum is currently completing her PhD at University of Hong Kong, where she received the Hong Kong University Presidential PhD Scholarship in 2020. She has recently submitted her thesis and is awaiting her oral defence. Begum’s research uses gas chromatography–mass spectrometry and Doppler flow velocity systems to evaluate cardiac function in PER2 mutant mice. She previously completed an MPhil at City University of Hong Kong, gaining experience in neuroscience, and hopes to contribute to advancing research in cardiology.
