Musammat Kulsuma Begum
University of Hong Kong
I am Begum Musammat Kulsuma, currently completing my PhD at HKU, where I was honored to receive the prestigious Hong Kong University Presidential PhD Scholarship (HKU-PS) in 2020. I have recently submitted my thesis and am awaiting my oral defense. Since embarking on this academic journey in 2020, I have developed a strong foundation in Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry system and Doppler Flow velocity system to evaluate cardiac function of PER2 mutant mice (PER2MUT). Prior to my doctoral studies, I completed MPhil at CityUHK where I gained valuable experience in Neuroscience. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am passionate about reading scientific journals and participating in science clubs, which enrich my perspective and approach to research. With a commitment to advancing knowledge in cardiology, I aspire to make a meaningful impact through my work.
