Hi, My name is Bella Liu. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Vascular Pharmacology at HKU, where I focus on the pharmacological modulation of endothelial dysfunction in hypertension and atherosclerosis. For example, the how cardiac glycosides modulate vascular tone regulation under the pathological conditions associated with endothelial dysfunction. I hold a Pharmacology degree from King’s College London, which provided me with a background in drug mechanisms and cardiovascular research.
