Anson Chan is a second-year MBBS student at HKU with a strong and sustained interest in biomedical research. Her passion was first ignited through International Baccalaureate experimental projects during high school, and further cultivated through a collaborative study under Professor Panda Chan exploring the properties of lichen-derived metabolites. Now advancing through medical school, Anson is eager to deepen her understanding of academic research and refine her investigative skills under the mentorship of experienced faculty at this workshop. With the university’s Enrichment Year approaching, she plans to use this summer to strengthen her research foundation and prepare for a research-focused project in the coming year.
