Dr Liu's research focuses on the function of immune cells that are central to fighting cancer. In his 25 years of research, he has explored mainly human immunology, particularly dendritic cell biology, genomic approaches to the diagnosis of human diseases, the pathophysiology of autoimmune diseases and cancer, and the design of novel vaccines.
