Dr Chen’s lab is interested in studying the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying immune responses. They hope that their research will lead to new approaches of modulating the immune system in a variety of immune diseases and cancers. Professor Chen focuses on the following areas of research: T lymphocyte differentiation and function; Cytokine function and signaling in inflammation; and Immune tolerance and tumor immunity.
