Yuqi Wang (王聿骐)
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen)
Yuqi Wang is currently a second-year PhD student at CUHK(SZ) supervised by Professor Yao Ji. His research brings together collider physics, quantum information, and open quantum systems. One of his ongoing projects studies spin decoherence in collider physics. In this work, he treats the final state in high-energy collisions as an open quantum system and applies renormalisation-group techniques to study how unresolved degrees of freedom affect spin coherence. This research provides a quantum-information interpretation of spin decoherence.
