I'm currently a second-year PhD student at CUHK(SZ) supervised by Professor Yao Ji. My research brings together collider physics, quantum information, and open quantum systems. One of my ongoing projects studies spin decoherence in collider physics. In this work, I treat the final state in high-energy collisions as an open quantum system and applies renormalization-group techniques to study how unresolved degrees of freedom affect spin coherence. This research provides a quantum-information interpretation of spin decoherence.
