Yu Cheng Qiu (邱漁騁)

Dr Yu Cheng Qiu is a theoretical physicist specialising in high-energy theory, particle physics, and cosmology. He is currently affiliated with the Department of Physics at City University of Hong Kong. Dr Qiu received his bachelor’s degree from Soochow University in 2017 and completed his PhD at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2022. He has also held a postdoctoral appointment at the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute / Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research encompasses dark matter, axion physics, neutrino phenomenology, baryon-number violation, and early-universe cosmology. Through his publications and academic presentations, Dr Qiu has contributed to a broad range of topics in fundamental physics, with particular emphasis on the interface between particle theory and cosmology.
